Had History Maker thingy today, met at chinatown mrt station.
I was late for meeting waiyee and kar at serangoon mrt. as before that I went to a bread shop to buy bun and I didn't realise that my water bottle is at the bread shop until I felt thirsty in the mrt and asked kar help me take it out at the side. Then kar asked me "where's your water bottle?" I replied "In my bag mah". Then i reached in and searched around and that's when I realised my water bottle is gone. -.-
Then we all laughed and chit chat, as you know mrt is quite squeezy in the morning then we all smelled fart, we all cover our nose and said "damn stink lei and all". I think is the guy beside me cus before we smell fart he was like "um chio-ing". After that blah blah blah.
Reached Chinatown mrt and met Ms A and all.
Headed to chinatown hawker centre to grab something to eat, but i didn't grab something I brought a plate. As usual big appetite, followed by a grassjelly drink.
We had to hurry cus we are visiting a "po po" house to give her rice.
Reached her house and knocked her door and rang the door bell. But she was bathing so she took some time to open the door, she is on a wheelchair as well.
She opened the door and invite us in warmly and asked us to be comfortable.
She's staying in a one room flat. Although it's very small but to her, it's all that she needs.
She shared with us about her life and she's 92 this year but looks like 70 plus to me, showed photos on her last time where there are still wars. She said she worked for the British army during WW1/2 sewing their uniforms.
Life was really really tough in the past and she worked 3 years for them without salary.
And it was really lucky that the soldiers didn't hurt her in any ways.
And she shared that there was once a man tried to cheat her that he's from some housing department to take a look around the house and to check where to paint and all, you know all kinds of cheating methods to cheat old people's money, yup "he" was one of them who used this kind of method. Po po already living in poverty and got nothing to take, she's old and unable to defend a young man or what. So people out there thinks that it's easy/good to cheat elderly's money by saying rubbish/or make a stupid lie just to get money. When they have hands and legs, could just find a job outside and it's so much better to rob and all. I despise this kind of people, yup finding a job may be hard but even if it pays little but at least it's hard earned money. And don't have to live life like a tortoise or beast to con money.
Quite pissed to know that in this world, people who are in needs need help and there are kind souls who help but whereas the bad ones eye on the needy and take away what people provide/give them. She showed us some photos and she's still studying even though she's old. And she got a cert. In chinese there's a quote says that "huo dao lao, xue dao lao". hmm, po po is an example.
Learnt alot today even though in a short time. They are still using charcoal to cook their food and it's really rare to find people using charcoal to cook in S'pore. Po po is very independent and really appreciates what she have. They are living in frugality and eats little per day.
Felt quite guilty that I eat so much, maybe should cut down. heheh.
Took pictures with popo and taught her how to pose. haha! She is so cute.
We gotta leave as she needs to prepare herself for programs in the community centre in an hours time. Wanted to bring her out for a walk but she insisted no.
Today's experience is really eye-opening for me, I think others as well. We saw elderly living outside corriders, sleeping on cardboareds and newspaper. If I've got lots of money, I wanna help them. Well, maybe in the future when I have a job. I wanna be a hairstylist.(:
If I've got a skill, I can help them too. Like trim/cut their hair for free of course.
It's time for us to leave and we hugged po po before we left and it's great that we made her day good.(:

Then Ms A bring us around to walk and told us what is this and that. Like we are touring around s'pore. haha.
Alright, she took us to a dessert shop to eat and she wanted to treat us. But none of us accepted her treat and payed money for our own food. Ms A paid first then we returned her the cost of our own food. Chat and laughed.
Then christine, bin and kush send me, kar and Ms A to the mrt station.
That's where we left and kar is good enough to accompany me to take my water bottle in the bread shop which is near school.

We had a "little talk" in the mrt, it was funny! We cant stop laughing about certain things. Then almost missed the stop at Kovan. So waited for 113 there and saw sway people. -.-!!!
And took the same bus loh, WL!
Reached the bread shop and took back my precious water bottle. heheh~
I know it sounds weird to what but really happy and relieved that my bottle is back to my side.
Can die man, without water.

Waited for 53 with kar as we are heading to J8.
The bus arrived and we boarded it. Quite packed so me and kar was lucky enough to stand at the you know..standing there??
Yep, saw a guy who looks a little like Lee Jun Ki!
A little lah except the nose.
He was chatting on the phone and he's holding on the "hand rings", I don't know what is it called.
Then me and kar was talking then suddenly the bus brake or what, we looked in front then OMG, the guy who looked like LJK his boxer's can be seen. And it's so obscene lah, and his pants was low and I think his boxer is tight, can see the "long kang" of the butt. WL. And meand kar started to laugh and I made fun of it as well. hahahahah!!!
Me and kar had to controll it as we are just beside him and wearing sch uni so gotta behave.
Then we changed direction and he thought it's so cool lah.
When it's so disgusting, and the design is so ridiculous. It has poker cards and heart shapes over it. -.-!
Then I couldn't controll my laughter anymore so I just burst out laughing, friends, you know my laughter right? Yep, that's how I laughed.Kar got affected by my laughter and laughed along too. Our tummy went numb after laughing so much. People were like looking at me and kar.
It wass so hilarious, I think the guy know that we are laughing at him so he went to sit. As he walked I saw his pom pom "marching" left right left. hahah!
And I told kar then we started laughing again.
Then we found seats and got no more strength to talk about funny matters and laugh already. As we laughed too much before that.
Kar said today was very fun, well I agreed. Po po made me learnt something valuable and that guy made me laughed like siao.

Alright reached J8 and I went to 7-Eleven to buy mashed-potato.
I tried the BBq flavour, it's so gross lah. And I smelled it, I don't think it's nice so I purchase another one of the original flavour. I didn't really finished the bbq flavoured mashed potato.
Went down to basement to buy kar's food then headed to popular as kar wanted to buy storybook. tsk tsk tsk~hardworking.

Walked around and we stopped at Action City. It was so funny, we experiment everything on display and played with it. And to get more ideas on d&t too.
We were like stuck at the shop, so many things to play with.

Then take a look at hp then went back. I was waiting for 59, saw bri's brother at the interchange too and took 59.
Saw "someone" too. Well don't want to mention who.
