HELLO PEOPLE!I've blogged again. Today was an hour late for lesson, had to do punishment to clean up the salon. But in the end carrying the stocks here and there, so busy. Helped seniors to arrange the colour bar as well. It was fun, but TIRING!!! I didn't know that inside the salon, behind the wall, there is a place to wash and dry the used towels. It's so cool, cus it's behind the wall! hahah okay, i know im very lame. Anyway yesterday went out to do research or rather interview. I was supposed to go with Jeremy but we seperated then met at Taka in the end. I went to Compass Point SuperCuts to "interview" them. They looked quite professional, it's considered a Medium Ranked Salon. Actually JEAN YIP SUCKSSSS!!!! I can't believe I'm saying this cus my work attachment will be there. -.- I went with Sharmin and Peishan. All from different group, actually was going with Jeremy but his going with Kuan Ren. So 2 guys and me go together like very weird. Peishan just pulled me along. Had hard and long time sorting who to go where and who's doing this and that. Then went off to meet Jeremy and Kuan Ren at Taka. As my hp balance is zero, i had difficulties contacting them. Then once i reached Orchard, looked for public phone. I walked around almost whole of Taka but they are inside KFC. -.- Met them and sat, Jeremy asked me this before i even get to sit down. Not about what i've found for the project but this! J: "Eh, you like girls or boys ah?" I: Girls and gays lah. J: Huh why? Why you like girls ah? [his face like abit disappointed] I: Why you ask me this when i just come? Not about the project but i like girls or boys? [I gave him a weird look] J: [Quickly said] Oh~no la, cus i erm....yah lah. [Topic changed suddenly] I don't understand as well but it's weird lah, hearing him talking like that, cus he's like ah beng. After eating went to Kim Robinson salon. I can only WOW! Actually all of us WOWED! It's so high class, just go in and have a look if you are going Taka next time. It's located at level 2. I thought is a shop that sells Accessories, but when you go in you will know that it's not. Went in and the service is damn good. I talked like an idiot cus my mind went blank. Then Jeremy helped me ask but in the end i asked. Wanted to take a picture but they don't allow. Guess what i saw in their book of services they provide? Wash and Cut by Kim Robinson [For first time customers only] $1529-$2059 Crazy right?! Me, Jeremy and Kuan Ren's expression is like our eyeballs gonna pop out anytime. Then this idiot Kuan Ren said "walau eh, lan jiao, wash and cut so ex where got people come and wash and cut here?" The people there heard, then he like act like nothing happen. hahah! Now vulgarities is very very common to hear in school. Especially my class. Finished interview and all then left Taka. They wanted to smoke at smoking area, so walked there. Was very shocked when Jeremy said this to Kuan Ren, cus they ask me to follow them first then continue looking for some more high end salon. J: I want to go and smoke eh K: Go lah then we accompany you first loh. J: Like you dont smoke like that! K: Yah lah i got smoke, we smoke then ask her to wait for us first lah. J: Don't want, later she become second hand smoker how? Then i was rather shocked, like suddenly he so caring/considerate. If is you, it's also quite shocking to hear something like that right? The whole HD class went down to Orchard but my group went different way. In the end all the rest of my classmates went to watch movie at Cine. Except for me, Jeremy and Kuan Ren, working our butts off for this project. Actually they can follow the rest but because I want to really do this project first then Jeremy also no choice. heheh. Like so different from sec sch. When teacher give us assignment then we will do it but playing at the same time. Now it's like teachers give us assignment then they just put it aside and play first. Copy other people's work when they hadn't do theirs. Irritating! Now HD is more united, not including me. But im more to myself with my "clique" already. They are very funny, and they love my laughter. hahah! Enjoying school life with them around. Can't stop laughing during breaks, instead of eating, we laugh more. Kind of remind me of sec sch. But of course it's different now! I've changed. To.. more Vain becoming more like a perfectionist more mature. yeah, not trying to be thick-skinned or whatsoever. But through ITE, i think i've become more independent now. I'm still a beginner in the hair industry, there's still a long long way to go. I know that it won't be easy in the future, and i will fail along the way. But that's the process to become successful. Actually im so lucky, lucky to have wonderful teachers. And of course school and friends. At first, i thought they were very ah lian, but slowly when i get to know them, they aren't. Mr Luke Arther Lim taught me something new today! Cus he cut my hair for me today, then he gave me some tips regarding cutting hair. And he advise me not to go back to the salon i always go to. Cus the perm they made for me are terrible. My hair is now damaged [curly part]. Yeah. I'm gonna try new hairstyle everytime i cut my hair. Short styles of course. And next salon I'm gonna have my hair cut will be at Toni & Guy. I love my current hairstyle ! (: And thanks to Vennie and LiTing, accompanying me to cut my hair. ^^ Got compliments from them, heheh. Feel very happy. Spot check next week for HFD students! -.- Cus due to some complains from other course that HFD students have funky hairstyles which is not according to school rules then discipline master gonna spot check on our hair and attire. Basically EVERYTHING! Don't know people from which course complained about us. F' those idiots. Now we can't have coloured hair! -.- People from other course also have hair which is not acceptable in school! Why always aim HFD students?! It about HAIR and we can't have styles?! How to look professional and stylish if everyone have hairstyle which is like AH TUK?! Even my teachers agree with us, we are in the hair industry and it's about Fashion! The discipline department really DO NOT have any fashion sense AT ALL!!! Jeffrey is super upset about this as well, hahah! First time see him so angry. hahah!
